Oval is a longer, gently tapered outline; round is relatively short and soft; square has a broader, angular lower face. Heart tapers from a wider upper face, diamond is widest at the cheeks, and oblong is more elongated.
Your face shape is a description of its proportions. Compare the length of your face with its width, then look at whether your temples, cheeks or jaw are widest. A clear front-facing photo can help you estimate the closest shape.

You may fall between two descriptions. Our detector shows all six relative matches so you can compare nearby references rather than treating one label as a verdict.
The detector lets you save a PNG result card or a JSON data file and print a report. A print dialog can save a PDF where your browser supports it. The exported card does not include your photo.
Our matches are transparent geometric estimates, not validated probabilities.
